A  Galtech uses first grade Indonesian hardwood similar in density to ash wood.

Q  How does the straight coupling connect the upper and lower pole?
A  The upper pole has a sleeve that covers the bottom pole. An external screw is used to secure the two poles.

A  Galtech uses 6 layers of marine varnish on 131 model.
